Mrs. Virginia Gayle Wallace Littrell, age 83, of Blytheville passed from this life on Monday July 26, 2010 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. Born in McNairy County, Tennessee to Welborn M. and Mary Barnett Wallace, Virginia was an avid reader and loved to cook. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church where she was very active. She was a member of the Seekers Sunday School Class and the United Methodist Women where she held many offices. She was also a past member of the Blytheville Jr. Auxiliary and the Red Cross Hospital Volunteers. Virginia was devoted wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed giving her time and energy helping others. |

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Joyce Morgan. |

She is survived by her husband of 62 years Robert L. Littrell; sons, Steve Littrell and wife Jan of Blytheville, Jeff Littrell and wife Pamela of West Plains, Missouri; grandchildren, Jennifer Hopper of Blytheville and Johnathan Littrell of West Plains, Missouri; great grandson Robert Hopper of Blytheville and brother in law, Herbert Morgan of Arlington, Virginia. |

Services will be conducted on Thursday July 29,2010 at 11:00 am in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends Wednesday July 28, 2010 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Cobb Funeral Home. Interment will be at 2:30 pm at Hollywood Cemetery in Jackson, Tennessee. Condolences may be emailed to cobbfuneralhome@sbcglobal.net. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church. |
