Betty Jo Cavness Brackin, age 71 of Manila and a former lifetime area resident passed from this life on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at the Manila Nursing Center in Manila, Arkansas. Born to Milton and Guyuela Lipscomb Cavness in Steele, Missouri she was retired from the Meyers Bakery and was of the Baptist Faith. Betty Jo was an individual who loved visiting her family members, talking for hours on the telephone and enjoyed cooking a variety of foods. Betty Jo was preceded in death by her parents and husband, James "Lindy" Brackin. |

Betty Jo is survived by her brother, Billy Cavness of Clarksdale, Mississippi; sister, Mary Sue Cavness and several nieces and nephews. |

Graveside services will be conducted, Friday, July 23, 2010 at 11:00 am in Dogwood Cemetery with Mr. Billy Holifield officiating. There will be no visitation. Cobb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be emailed to cobbfuneralhome@sbcglobal.net. |
