Dr. Max Haynes, age 71, of Blytheville, Arkansas passed from this life on Friday July 2, 2010 at Great Rivers Medical Center in Blytheville. Born to James and Zada Stallings Haynes of Blytheville, he was a retired U.S Air Force Lt. Col. in Vietnam receiving the Bronze Star and a member of the Clear Lake Baptist Church. |

He was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Hiram Haynes, Jim Allen Haynes Jr., and John Haynes, and sister, Patsy Taylor. |

Dr. Haynes is survived by four sisters; Carrie Sue Berry of Franklin, Tennessee, Zada Payne of Marion, Vera Work and Janet Allene Morehead of Blytheville; sister-in-law Inez Haynes of Gulf Port, Mississippi; a son Alex Haynes of Blytheville. Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 6, 2010 at 11:30 am in the Cobb Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the funeral home.
