Ideal Self-Inkers

What are Self-Inking Stamps?
Self-Inking stamps have a felt ink pad built into the handle of the stamp.  The stamp mechanically re-inks itself after every impression by retracting the rubber plate and resting it on the ink pad.  Self-inking stamps are the most popular because of their high quality and moderate price.   These stamps are good for thousands of impressions.  When the felt pad runs low on ink, simply add a few drops and keep going  We proudly recommend the Ideal brand self-inking stamp.

What are Pre-Inked Stamps?
Pre-Inked stamps have few or no moving parts and utilize a patented impression material that allows ink to soak right into it.   These stamps are popular because of the excellent quality impressions they make, but they are a bit more expensive.   Pre-Inked stamps are good for thousands of impressions.  When the stamp runs low on ink, simply add a few drops and keep going.   We proudly offer the Ultimark, MaxLight, and Xstamper brands of pre-inked stamps.

What are Hand-Stamps?
Hand-stamps require the purchase and use of a separate ink pad.  These are the old-fashioned style stamps that are pressed into the ink pad prior to stamping on the paper.  Hand-Stamps are popular because of their low cost.
